- rolled oats/instant porridge oats – 40g (5 tbsp)
- Water/milk 200 ml (1 cup)
- Yogurt 70g (3 tbsp)
- Baobab powder 10g (1tbsp)
- Milled flax or chia seeds 5g (1tsp)
- Sweetener of choice; eg. Agave syrup, coconut nectar
- Toppings of choice; eg. Strawberries, banana, chocolate, peanut butter
- Mix oats with water or milk and bring to boil.
- Smmer for 5 minutes stirring occasionally until the porridge reaches the desired thickness.
- Take away from the stove, stir in seeds, yogurt, sweetener and baobab powder.
- Transfer the porridge into a bowl and serve with a selection of your favourite toppings.
- Replace yogurt or milk with soy or coconut alternative to make your porridge vegan.
