Serves: 7 medium square waffles
- Wholewheat flour – 210g
- Baobab powder – 20g
- Baking powder – 6g
- Eggs – 2 medium
- Almond milk – 250ml
- Salt – pinch
- Agave syrup – 5g
- Olive oil – 10g
- In a large bowl, mix flour, baobab powder and baking powder. Add eggs, almond milk, salt and agave syrup, Mix all ingredients with a whisk until well combined.
- Heat up a waffle maker and add 2 tablespoons of the batter into each individual mould and bake according to the waffle maker instructions – approx. 7-10 minutes, until golden brown.
- You can serve waffles with sweet (fruit, syrup, yogurt, chocolate sauce, peanut butter, ice cream) or savoury (avocado, egg, hummus, vegetables, bacon) toppings. we are using our vegan Banana ice cream recipes
