It’s been another busy period as we beaver away on manufacturing, retail, and one or two trade shows, but we are delighted to officially announce that Baotic, represented by Paul, has been selected onto Unlocking Ambition a prestigious government funded program launched direct from Nicola Sturgeon’s office.
The launch of the program was tied into a visit by Professor Bill Aulet, from The Martin Trust Center for MIT Entrepreneurship:
When we first started this journey and advisers suggested the amount of finance (£££!) it typically takes to launch a national drinks business we often gasped. Thankfully, we were so caught up in the passion for Baobab drinks, health and our goals for Gambian community projects we rarely stopped to worry. Even more thankfully, we have been fortunate to win a number of awards, funds and grants that have cut through this complexity for the early stages, and given us a great shot of developing something quite exciting!
Unlocking ambition promises to be an exciting year. As well as business funding, structured training and mentoring from some of Scotland’s best support agencies and business experts, we also unlock high growth account management through Scottish Enterprise. So watch this space!
